I decided to come up with a list of healthy snacks we should have on hand: apples, string cheese, yogurt, bananas and tortilla chips. Ok, so mostly healthy. And, the ingredients needed to make some yummy desserts: chocolate chip muffins, cookies, oatmeal balls and rice krispy treats.
I was so excited when Gator decided she wanted to make dessert!! She opted to make MnM Rice Krispy Treats.
First, she melted 3T of butter (microwave). Then, she counted out FORTY marshmallows. This probably isn't hard except every few minutes Achoo screamed a different number or asked "I have one peeeez". She lost count a few times! Next, she microwaved the butter & marshmallows for 90 seconds. When it came out she mixed in 6 cups of rice krispies. Finally, she poured them into a pan and topped them with MnMs. Doesn't it look delicious? And...most of all she is so proud of herself!!!
