Today, Little Man turns 3.

I am not sure it hit me that he was turning 3 until I started this, 3.  (This has always been the hardest birthday to celebrate for me...its like the change of needing me to not really needing me longer the baby...not really a toddler...a big boy...)

Little are amazing.  You are 33 pounds and 37.5 inches tall (you grew 4.5'' this year). You look like your big sister Peanut...though, she's really not all that big because people think she's your twin.

You make me smile as I try to write this post and think of all the silliness that has happened this year with you.  I am blessed.  There is no better way to put it - blessed.

Achoo, I wanted to name you something other than what you are....I will never forget when the nurse came into the room and said, "So, what exactly does his name mean" and all I could do was look at her and say, "Man that shoots with a bow."  I wanted to name you something that meant Blessed.  I am blessed. To me, Achoo, your name also means Blessed. Every single part of you makes me Blessed.

I always dreamt of having a son.  I never knew how amazing you would be.  You are more than I could have asked for.

I love when you come to my room and snuggle with me in the morning...I love every morning when you ask for "pan cookies and bakies" (pancakes and bacon).  When I give you pancakes and bacon you look at me like I have given you a million dollars, your eyes sparkle and you say, "THANK YOU MOM".  It is the best feeling in the world.

You recently learned to pee and poo on the potty.  You are so an all or nothing kid.  I can't help but chuckle that you choose to do your business on a pink potty and that you want to take a photo of every.single.thing you do in it.  We have to do the little potty dance and that you shake your teeny tiny heiny with fierce.  You melt my heart.

Achoo, you are the laziest little boy in the world sometimes...secretly, I love it.  You'll have your shoes in front of you and all you need to do is step in and you'll look at me and say, "I can't do it" - I just laugh, smile and do it for you (yes, I'm giving in -- this doesn't happen always but I love you).

You love playing with your sisters. You choose to be Super Wear-o's (superheros) and they will be the princesses. You save them from themselves...its cute.  You love Disney cars, spiderman, trains and legos.  You love riding your plasma car up and down the street, your little car in the backyard and you love to swing.....

You are afraid of nothing. Well, almost nothing.

You are incredibly smart.  You know all your ABC's. You can sing the alphabet, identify the letters, do puzzles.  You know your numbers (1-10) and can identify them easily. You can count to 30.  You know all your shapes. You know your colors.  You know some sight words.  And, you can draw the letter A, a circle, square and a bunch of scribbles.

Your favorite show is Little Einsteins.  You love the movie Toy Story.

For your birthday this year we celebrated a couple days early by taking you to see Monster's University. You loved it.  We had lunch out with the family and came home to play. At night, we had icecream cake - it was delicious and then you went to play and found some presents!  What a happy little boy! "Presents for me?!" Yes, you!

On your actual birthday we took a little trip to the Children's Museum. You had lunch at Chick Fil A -- you really just wanted to play and have chocolate milk, so we did.  At home we played outside with bikes, bubbles and got means you were having lots and lots of fun!  And, for dinner we went to Red Robin (like we always seem to do for birthdays) and celebrated one last time!

Little Man, you are all that I could have asked for and ten times more!!!

I am so happy you are part of our family.  I love you so much. I look forward to tons more birthdays and many, many, many more years of happy times with you!!!

Thank you for calling me, Momma.

I love you, Little Man, always and forever.

Oh....and one more is a video I took today asking him some questions....MELT MY HEART!  I also took lots more photos but the upload hasn't been going as smoothly as I had hoped.  I'll share more in another post soon!  HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY!

Thanks so much for stopping in my site, and for posting the nice comment.

I had to laugh about your post. You can't believe your son is turning 3...I can't believe mine is turning 15 and starting high school!

Hope you have a terrific week, and stop in again!
