A little morale boost!

Vegas has been lucky enough to receive packages and letters from us. Friends and family have sent letters and cards giving support. But what is remarkable is people who don't even know him have sent him packages and nice letters.

Here is a letter from a child in Ohio.

It was part of a project for the First Communion Class to send packages to soldiers overseas.

This was the package Vegas received.

I think the package is adorable!

He also recently received 3 dozen boxes of girl scout cookies from a Daisy Troop. Yes, THREE DOZEN! He didn't take pictures of those as they were quickly handed out and eaten!

So, anyways...this is just a quick thank you to all those that send stuff to soldiers, small or large...it puts a smile on their face and a smile on the face of the ones at home too. I'm really glad that he is being remembered by people, prayed for by people and thought of.

Thank you to everyone who supports our troops! It means a lot to them and to their families...

That's so awesome. As a parent, I feel like I need to get my children to do this as well so they realize that these men and women are out there serving our country and giving us the freedoms that we have today. Thanks to Vegas for contributing to that and I'm glad that folks, not just family, are sending him their thanks and praises.
