An update...sort of...

IMG_2698

Well, just thought I'd give an update...

Peanut still isn't feeling so hot...but thankfully Gator is being a big help. She is holding her and cuddling with her and making sure there is a lot of love...sometimes a bit too much love.

The creepy thing is Peanut sometimes sleeps with her eyes open...

These are pictures from LAST night.

After these pictures she had a fever, threw up, you know...the whole thing...

But, once the tylenol and motrin kicked in she was doing okay for a little bit...

Enough to pester the dogs...and put some stinky baby feet in the stinky dog food...what a massage!

We ended up sleeping okay last night but this morning was rough...

I had hoped we were over it but definitely not...

We've had some good parts today and some crappy parts...I'm thinking the medication is working but I'm not really sure.

Tomorrow, if she's still sick I'm going to hunt down a pediatrician. I'm hopeful that one of the ones I used to work for while in college might be available...and willing to see her...

In a perfect world though...everyone would wake up feeling 100% and we wouldn't even need a pediatrician...

Oh, and that's what her ear looked like around lunch today...AND now it kind of looks like this:

I know we haven't talked with you guys in a while but we came across your blog not to long ago and have been following a little bit since then. I hope you and Joe are doing well. We saw the pics and thought maybe a spider bite or something similar to that. I hope she gets better soon.

I'm really sorry she is still so sick. Have you tried swabbing the ear thing with a q-tip with hydrogen peroxide? May be worth a try doing that, just to see how it responds. When Yoda had (and now has again) his whole ordeal with bug bites, they didn't think that was it that either (wasn't till the skin biopsy showed). Bug bites on sensitive-skinned kids are really, really brutal. Glad Gator is spreading her love to the sick & wounded.
